The Cooperative built on and strengthened its corporate identity and vastly extended its reach into national and international markets. La Palma continues to hone its management and commercial capacities, and now encompasses around 150 agricultural businesses generating a turnover of more than 20 million euros from the cultivation of mostly industrial tomatoes, but also of grains and winter vegetables.
As a growers’ cooperative dedicated to meeting the needs of its members, we provide advanced services for each stage of the process of cultivation and production with a view to collectively growing our businesses and achieving joint commercial success.
We encourage member producers to improve their level of expertise and efficiency, and we are well versed in the arts of business networking. We combine a commitment to shared prosperity with a long term plan to protect the well being of the local people and the land.
VARIETY SELECTION AND FARM INCOME
Choosing the right crop variety is a prerequisite for obtaining top-quality produce, and the all-important task of selection is one of the services that our team provides to the member-producers of the Cooperative. By matching the genetic characteristics of each variety to the environment in which it must grow, we are able to obtain produce of exceptionally high quality.

Our team supports farmers in the carrying out of all their strategic activities and helps them streamline and optimize each stage of the process. Organized and precise in our operations, our job is to support and instil confidence in our members, none of whom shall ever be left to feel alone.

With the wisdom acquired of decades of experience we know how to place each item of produce in exactly the right market niche. Countless competitors offer similar services in the very same market segments, but what makes us different is that, in showing our members how to diversify their output and find the exact market niche for it, we work to clearly higher standards in demanding excellence in perceived quality.
